Dynamic RAM loses stored data in a very short time. It is also known as DRAM.DRAM forms the larger system RAM space.

DRAM requires refreshing frequently to retain information stored in it by doing a refresh again and again slowing down the memory. DRAM is made up of one capacitor and a transistor. it is used to make a system memory.

  • It needs to be refreshed frequently.
  • It is prolonged.
  • It is available at a low cost.
  • It requires less power.
  • It is used as cache memory.
